Muhetaer Aihaiti has been a member of the CDAC research team since 2008. He has been a pioneer in the use of Brillouin spectroscopy to explore the properties of amorphous materials at high pressure, as well as in the study of ferroelectric materials at high pressure using Raman spectroscopy. In addition to managing the CDAC laboratories at UIC, Professor Aihaiti takes a leading role in the education and training of both graduate and undergraduate students.
